Adja's African Braiding Salon is a brand new spot on North 7th Street in Phoenix, but the hands behind the chair carry twenty years of experience. We opened these doors to give this community a place where traditional African braiding is treated with the patience, precision, and respect it deserves. Whether you sit with us at our location or invite us to come to you, the care stays the same.

We work with all textures and all lengths, from short to shoulder-length to waist-length looks. Our clients come to us for box braids that stay neat for weeks, knotless braids that sit soft against the scalp, and fulani braids styled with beads, cuffs, and the accessories you love. We twist senegalese twists and passion twists, lay clean cornrows and stitch braids, and take our time on the intricate patterns and boho braids that make a style feel personal.
